[Ken Hamaguchi Profile]
Ken Hamaguchi graduated from Tama Art University in 1997, majoring in Japanese painting.
While working mainly in illustration, he made his debut as an artist in 2008 with his solo exhibition “Black, Sutra, and Others” (Takahashi Collection Kagurazaka).
Mainly develops paintings with motifs of pop culture such as music and subculture.
His recent solo exhibitions include “Maybe the Guts of a TV?” (WISH LESS gallery, Tokyo, 2021), “Eight Views of Tokyo 2020” (un petit GARAGE, Tokyo),
"PICK YOUR GOD 2020" (WISH LESS gallery, Tokyo), etc.
