"Don't ignore that feeling of unease."
Hello.
This is Aoyagi.
Do you ever have those moments in your daily life where you suddenly think, "Huh?"
Like in a conversation, you feel like something's not quite right, or you notice someone's expression.
Or you rearranged your room, but something still feels off.
Or even just feeling a bit unwell.
When it's something minor, you probably just let it go most of the time.
"Oh well."
"Maybe it's just my imagination."
"I'll think about it later."
And then you just leave it.
But these small feelings of unease can sometimes grow into bigger problems later on, or even become irreversible issues.
I think that unease is just a sign that your experience and intuition have noticed "something is off," even if you haven't put it into words yet.
And because I can't put it into words, I often leave it alone.
So, it just stays in the back of my mind.
And sometimes, later on, it turns into "I wish I had checked that then."
Conversely, if I take a little effort to explore that feeling of unease, even if it's a bit troublesome, it might be resolved in 5 minutes, or I might realize, "It really was strange."
I think unease is like a "bud" of sorts.
If you notice it when it's small, you can pluck it right away.
If you leave it, it might grow bigger later.
So, recently, if I think "Huh?", I try not to ignore it.
Maybe do a little research.
Or double-check it.
Even just doing that, I feel like the accuracy of things improves a bit.
Don't ignore small feelings of unease.
I think it's important to trust your own intuition.
By the way, this week, there were two days when I left the office, wondered if I'd locked the door, went back to check, and found that I had indeed locked it. (lol)
