"Learn, not fail"
Hello.
This is Aoyagi.
The theme of this column is "failure."
This is a column that affirms my life, which is full of failures. (laughs)
When I was young, I made a lot of mistakes,
"I did it again" or
"I'm no good, I'm..."
I often failed and got depressed, but as I got older, my attitude towards failure changed.
In fact, failure is not necessarily a bad thing.
Failure is also proof that you tried something.
If you think about it that way, failure can also be seen as an opportunity to learn what doesn't work.
Rather than regretting, think about how you can use it next time.
Depending on whether or not you have that perspective, the same failure can have a completely different meaning.
Failure is not failure, it is learning.
The more you fail, the more you learn.
Whether it lives or dies depends on how you perceive it.
I'm keeping it very positive. (laughs)
Speaking of myself recently, work took a little longer than expected and I ended up about 30 minutes late meeting a friend.
I felt very sorry, but I learned something from that experience.
"Allow yourself at least an hour to meet up."
Even if you finish work on schedule, you can use the free time before your meeting to read a book, clear your head, or just spend some time on your own.
As a result, I don't cause trouble for my friends and I feel more at ease.
I want to be someone who is not afraid of failure and can turn it into a learning experience.
What "learning failure" have you made recently?
