"If you're not in trouble,"

Hello.
This is Aoyagi.

Before I knew it, December had arrived.

I have so much to do, I'm worried if I'll be able to make it through the year. (lol)

Now, we all have those moments where we think, "Oh no, what a pickle!" don't we?

Just recently, I was supposed to get off three stations away, but I got on an express train and realized I had gone far past my destination.

And I did this twice in a row while at work...
(It's not so much a "pickle" as it is just plain clumsy.)

In the past, I used to think "It's better not to have any troubles," but recently, my perspective has changed.

When things are going smoothly, it means you're operating within your current capacity.

In other words, you're maintaining the status quo, but not evolving.

Conversely, a "troublesome moment" is when you exceed your own capacity.

That's precisely when you think, innovate, challenge yourself, and take action.
And you see it through!

New ideas and growth usually emerge when you're in a bind.

The choices you have when you're in trouble are simple:

"Overcome it somehow" or "run away."

I feel that choice makes a huge difference in your future.

Having many troubles means you have many opportunities to update yourself.

Of course, if you're constantly facing heavy-duty challenges every day, you might get disheartened (lol).

Lately, I've been embracing them with a feeling of "Here it comes, a chance to evolve!"

Strangely, ever since I started thinking that way, I've felt more at ease, and I'm no longer overly afraid of troubles.

Looking back, I feel that many troubles can be laughed at later, evoke empathy from others, and truly become a source of strength through experience.

When I think about it that way, today's troubles are also an investment in my future self.

...However, I really want to stop getting on the wrong train soon. (lol)

To everyone I inconvenienced, I apologize!
m(_ _)m
