WAPPER, a B-BOY who was formerly a member of the legendary team Rock Steady Crew Tokyo and was also active in Born 2 Funk, transitioned to a FREESTYLE DANCER after an injury led him to confront his own musicality.
His persuasive style and skills, which are fluidly constructed with respect for history from old school to new school, have been proven in numerous battles, including twice reaching the top at DANCE@LIVE held at Ryogoku Kokugikan.
Since the formation of the team NewSchoolOrder in 2013, he has displayed his talent as the hidden mastermind, starting with choreography and composition, becoming a leading force in the scene.
Individually, he has also formed units with top players across genres, silencing and impressing both newcomers and experts with his profound character.
His ever-changing and evolving back, which is still continuing, can be said to be a symbol of a rare street dancer in this day and age.
