[ The charm of hand-dyed fabrics is their fantastical nuances .

Unlike regular tie-dyeing, this tie-dye sweatshirt hoodie is made by randomly wrinkling the fabric before dyeing, giving it a unique texture that reduces the tie-dye feel.

This uniquely dyed piece was inspired by the dishcloths in the dyeing workshop that APPLEBUM staff came across when they visited and wiped off dye, and which had become stained with various dyes during the process.

Starting with base dyeing, the fabric is then layered with around 10 different dyes to create a cloth-like texture, and then the dye is removed.The result is a finished product with a rich range of shades and depth, achieved using a time-consuming dyeing technique.

Each piece is like an art piece, with a different look to it.

*As the product has been dyed, there is a possibility of color fading.

[TiEDYE FREAK]

TiEDYE FREAK was started in 2021 by two graduates of Bunka Fashion College.

The company mainly processes apparel items using hand dyeing, silkscreen printing, and embroidery.

The two of them carry out all of the processing steps together, and with their craftsmanship that could be described as artistic, they receive requests from a variety of brands and companies.
