If you think you don't have enough time

Hello.
This is Aoyagi.

This time, I would like to write about "time."

A few years ago, when I was rushing around trying to get things done at home, I suddenly said to my daughter:

"24 hours in a day is not enough... I wish there were 48 hours in a day."

Then the daughter said,

"I'm sure Dad would say, 'I don't have time,' even if he had 48 hours.

If I had 48 hours, I'd probably do more and end up saying, 'I don't have time' again."

He said.

I still remember how those words struck me deeply.

The truth behind "not having enough time"

It's true that when we feel busy, we may feel stressed or anxious because we think we don't have enough time.

Even if we increase our time, we end up increasing the number of desires and challenges.

I think the desire to "if only I had more time" isn't simply due to a "lack of physical time," but rather to the "amount of things that need to be done and the number of things that one wants to do."

I changed my way of thinking to a much more positive one. (laughs)

So what should we do?

Let's take a hint from my daughter's words...

When you feel like you don't have enough time, the first thing you should do is organize your thoughts.

・Think carefully about what is necessary and what is unnecessary and reset ( decide what not to do )
Take a deep breath, make some coffee, or take a short walk.

I have gotten into the habit of doing things like this to regain some space in my mind.

My daughter's words made me think about my own existence rather than the amount of time I had.

I think there's a lot to learn from children.

"Childcare" is "self-development"

Parents raise their children and let their children help them grow.
