[Ken Hamaguchi Profile]

Hamaguchi Ken graduated from Tama Art University in 1997 with a major in Japanese painting.

While focusing on illustration, he also made his debut as an artist in 2008 with his solo exhibition "Black, Sutras, and Others" (Takahashi Collection Kagurazaka), where he created paintings primarily based on pop culture and subculture motifs, including music.

Recent solo exhibitions include "Maybe the innards of a TV?" (WISH LESS gallery, Tokyo, 2021), "Eight Views of Tokyo 2020" (un petit GARAGE, Tokyo), and "PICK YOUR GOD 2020" (WISH LESS gallery, Tokyo).
